Conversation at Springwood

Sunday  April 2nd 2000

Hello Conversationalists,

To those who were not at the Sunday meeting, we wish you well and hope to see you next time.
Our time was varied and stimulating with some surprises. Sounds like life in general, no? The six of us seemed pleased with the event overall. I personally took some thoughts away to work with and am still doing so.

The venue has been voted a success and as our 'coming out' place it is good: lovely
surroundings and good food, just what we are becoming accustomed to. We welcomed two newcomers who intend to return and who contributed to the day simply by being there: Brian (another one) and his friend Yoni, who was born in Papua New Guinea and who has a most pleasant approach to her life. The poems from Brian will be a pleasure in the future. He is quick of the lip and mind and willing to share. Leonie, Halena and Jenni were their usual lovely selves and I took a trip into my past via comments from Halena. Thanks to all who were there for being who you are and to all those who were not there for the same reason.

The Katoomba Dust (read mist) was heavy though our hearts were light, nonetheless, with a
warming exchange to set us on our way. More 'real' life next time.

The next date to watch and plan for is:

Sunday May 7th, 10.30a.m. at the Conservation Hut again. We have to book so any notification of definite attendance would be appreciated early, otherwise consider yourself welcomed next time around.

A full breakfast is good value at $10.90, including coffee or juice and the other options are
reasonable too.

Till next time,

Love & Light

Paul & Jenni
